The MFA program in Photography ensures that graduate candidates produce technically and aesthetically impressive work. Supported by working professionals in the field of photography, the curriculum expands the graduate candidate's experience in all areas of photography, leading to a Final Project in the candidate's chosen area of concentration - Documentary Photography.
Coupling advanced technical skills with design and conceptual strengths, the graduate candidate develops a cohesive Final Project that, upon review and approval by a Review Committee of faculty and industry professionals, is exhibited to the public.
The Master of Fine Arts requires completion of 63 semester units.
