To paraphrase the wisdom of the ages, "for everything there is a season." For learning, that season is now. And given today's economy, the "learning season" now lasts a lifetime.
During most of the last century, learning was a one time thing. People started school as a youngster and typically finished their formal schooling in their late teens or early twenties.
