Earn your Bachelor of Arts in Organizational Management (BAOM) degree and examine the human side of managing organizations. Learn to allow for skill development in communication, group behavior, decision-making, human resource management and ethics. Personalize your degree when you pair it with a concentration. Use previous education or work experience to enhance your BAOM and customize it more closely with your professional and educational goals. Recreation

One of the best things about Ashford University's Organizational Management program is the ability to customize your degree to fit your professional and educational goals. Students with a background and/or interest in Recreation can transfer up to 12 credits of Recreation coursework into their Recreation concentration resulting in a dynamic degree comprised of complementing areas. Students with a concentration in Recreation will have a fundamental understanding of the recreation industry and the fundamental functions and activities performed in the management of sports and recreation organizations.

These students will combine their Recreation education with organizational skill development in communications, group behavior, decision making, human resource management and ethics, culminating in a well-rounded degree. In addition, Ashford University's transfer policy will allow you to transfer in your Recreation credits no matter when you took them. The result is a dynamic degree which allows you to keep the credit you have earned while adding courses which will improve your management skills and enhance your opportunity for promotion within your chosen field.
