Capella University

Earn your degree online from an accredited university.

You‘ll get a sense of the Capella University difference from the moment you talk to one of our enrollment counselors. "They made me feel like a person, not just a number," says Miriam Napolitano-Magaw, who earned a master‘s degree with a specialization in mental health counseling. "That meant a lot to me."

Capella University offers online degrees in the fields of business management, health care, higher education, human resources, information technology, mental health, K-12 education, public safety and public administration. An accredited university, Capella delivers a challenging education to more than 28,000 students in all 50 states and 45 other countries.

Capella believes in providing students both superb academics and practical skills, so classes are taught by faculty members who are scholars and practitioners in their fields. Additionally, where applicable, curricula are constructed to meet the standards established by professional trade associations to ensure students gain the knowledge sought by employers.

"Capella was an awesome experience," says James Baker, who earned a PhD in Education. "I never worried about the credibility of my degree because I realized I was getting a world-class education that would rival anyone‘s." In a 2007 survey of Capella alumni, 98 percent of the respondents said they were satisfied with their course experience and 91 percent agreed that their Capella education provided them with knowledge and skills that increased their career or professional options.

Capella helps more than 75 percent of students with financial aid assistance. In addition, Capella has relationships with more than 100 corporations, 200 U.S. community colleges, and every branch of the U.S. armed forces, providing reduced tuition and other special benefits to members of those organizations.
