While online versions of the core courses and most of the upper-level courses for these degrees are offered on a regular basis, others are not offered online with sufficient frequency to satisfy online students. For this reason, students who do not have any college level course work and wish to complete a degree online, will need to work with an advisor to determine how best to meet their degree requirements.

Courses include programming languages, the architecture and organization of computers, software engineering, managing the interactions between humans and computers, net-centric computing, network security, computer graphics, and the social and professional issues associated with the practice of computer science. Graduates are prepared for a wide variety of careers in the computer field.
