Clarion University of Pennsylvania is part of the Keystone University Network. The Keystone University Network brings the educational offerings of great universities to you - anywhere - anytime - as the online learning resource of the Pennsylvania State System of Higher Education and its 14 state-funded public universities.

The State System has a proud history of strengthening the Commonwealth through its ongoing commitment to excellence in education at the lowest possible cost. With current enrollment of more than 100,000 students, the State System is the largest provider of higher education in Pennsylvania.

Keystone University Network draws upon the administrative, technological and instructional strengths of the State System and its universities to deliver affordable, convenient and high-quality distance learning meeting the needs of individuals and the business community.

The Educational Resources Group - A Strategic Direction

The Educational Resources Group is the division of the Pennsylvania State System of Higher Education that administers Keystone University Network and other learning initiatives supporting business, industry, government agencies, non-profits and public safety organizations and the needs of non-traditional, place-bound students.

The strategic direction of the Educational Resources Group (ERG) defines who we are and where we are going. It is more than words on a piece of paper; rather it describes our culture and determines how we think and what we do. This strategic direction is embodied by the mission, vision and values described below.

Mission. Preparing today's workforce for tomorrow's challenges.
We will work to develop and bring together opportunities and resources that support lifelong learning and increase access to knowledge.

This mission drives the near-term operations of the ERG and also its long-term future.

Vision. ERG will become the most innovative, continuous-learning resource center in the nation dedicated to providing fully accessible learning opportunities.
The ERG provides “anywhere-anytime” education and training opportunities, access to the foremost technology in online learning and knowledge management, and a seamless delivery system for various client communities within Pennsylvania and beyond. Using the vast resources of the Pennsylvania State System of Higher Education and the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, the ERG responds with agility to present and anticipated needs of tomorrow's global workforce. It is a learner-centered and learner-driven institution without walls or boundaries, and is responsive to the dynamic and fluid nature of the marketplace. Products and services are as diverse as the client base.

The ERG must reach to the future and prepare to meet future challenges to remain relevant. Anticipating the world of tomorrow is increasingly problematic, given the rapid pace of change and conflicting degree program and fiscal priorities. The catalyst defining our future is the ERG vision. The vision describes our future state, and thus provides the direction in which we plan to move.

Values.
Respect and Sensitivity:
We are respectful and sensitive to the needs and opinions of others.

Innovativeness:
We maintain an environment that encourages flexibility and fosters a spirit of entrepreneurial innovation.

Excellence:
We develop and maintain the highest quality products, services and relationships.

Integrity:
We hold ourselves to the highest personal and professional standards.

Lifelong Learning:
We encourage an atmosphere of continuous lifelong learning and knowledge sharing.

Cooperation and Collaboration:
We maximize our resources and enhance our opportunities by continuously building and sharing relationships.
These particular corporate values must pervade our lives. The ERG is committed to these institutional values.
