The Clarion University/Edinboro University/Slippery Rock University Master of Science in Nursing program, accredited by the National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission, is located at the seven sites owned and operated by the three State System universities.

MSN - Family Nurse Practitioner
This joint initiative was developed to address the health care needs of rural residents of western Pennsylvania by educating primary health care providers to serve the communities surrounding the three institutions. The degree program was established in 1995 by Clarion and Slippery Rock nursing faculty. Edinboro University joined the consortium in 2001. This MSN degree is the first joint degree program within the fourteen state-owned universities. This degree program combines faculties and resources of all three institutions.
