Nutrition Emphasis: Provides a greater understanding and application of the science of food and nutrition, and allows students to pursue careers in the field of nutrition in the private or public arena.

Health and Wellness Emphasis: Explores diverse approaches to health and wellness, including physical, mental, and spiritual health. Coursework is practical to help you succeed in this growing field.

Who Should Take This Program?
Students who have earned an AAS, AS, AA, BA, or BS degree from a regionally or nationally accredited college should take this program. Degrees and credits considered to be remedial, occupational, or specialized may not be accepted for transfer under this option. Individuals interested in developing their professional skills in health science and health care, nutrition science, or holistic health and wellness should pursue the Advanced Start Bachelor of Science in Health Science.
