Paralegal

Keiser College has developed a Paralegal degree program that trains students to handle most of the challenging tasks formerly handled solely by lawyers. A Paralegal, sometimes called Legal Assistant or Lawyer's Assistant, is supervised by an attorney and assists attorneys with legal research, drafts documents and motions which are filed in court, interviews clients and witnesses, manages cases, and is involved in the gathering of evidence and the litigation procedure. Paralegals are also often involved in trial assistance and other dispute resolution processes, as well as with the preparation of real estate documents, probate, contracts, corporate matters and law office investigation. Short of advising clients, making legal decisions, and representing clients in a court of law.

About this school

Keiser College

KC eCampus is a full online campus. Students interact with their instructor and each other using advanced technology; from anywhere at anytime!

Many are skeptical of online colleges and the quality of education they can provide. My experience at Keiser College has proven to me that a quality education can be delivered via the Internet successfully. The class environment is structured so that each student must participate in the class by reading their text and lectures, interact with other students in discussion forums, submit assignments, and take their exams. Students truly feel that they are attending a traditional classroom even though each student has the freedom to participate when it is more convenient for their situation. I am so proud to be a part of an institution that has successfully utilized the full potential of the web to provide others with a quality education that I have recommended Keiser College to many others."
