Computer Networking and Security Management is among the top five fastest growing occupations through 2012. Network or computer systems administrators design, install, and support an organization's LAN (local-area network), WAN (wide-area network), network segment, Internet, or intranet system. They provide day-to-day onsite administrative support for software users in a variety of work environments, including professional offices, small businesses, government, and large corporations. They maintain network hardware and software, analyze problems, and monitor the network to ensure its availability to system users. They also gather data to identify customer needs and then use that information to identify, interpret, and evaluate system and network requirements. They may be called on to educate users on computer security, install security software, monitor the network for security breaches, respond to cyber attacks, and in some cases, gather data and evidence to be used in prosecuting cyber crime.

About this school

Keiser University Ecampus Online

KC eCampus is a full online campus. Students interact with their instructor and each other using advanced technology; from anywhere at anytime!

Many are skeptical of online colleges and the quality of education they can provide. My experience at Keiser University Ecampus Online has proven to me that a quality education can be delivered via the Internet successfully. The class environment is structured so that each student must participate in the class by reading their text and lectures, interact with other students in discussion forums, submit assignments, and take their exams. Students truly feel that they are attending a traditional classroom even though each student has the freedom to participate when it is more convenient for their situation. I am so proud to be a part of an institution that has successfully utilized the full potential of the web to provide others with a quality education that I have recommended Keiser University Ecampus Online to many others."
