The B.S. program in biology is designed to provide both breadth and depth in undergraduate study of the biological sciences. It can serve as preparation for medical school or other professional studies in the health sciences; graduate study in biological sciences; or direct employment as a research technician or field ecologist, or in a similar position.

General Education Requirements
Coursework taken to meet the University’s general education requirement for mathematics must include MATH 116 Elementary Statistics but can otherwise be filled with any approved courses.
Foundation Science Requirements
The 27-hour foundation science requirement includes studies in chemistry and physics as well as algebra.
