The way the world does business is changing, and technology is the driving force behind that change. Today, business graduates must be as comfortable with a notebook computer as they are with a briefcase. The Business-eBusiness program provides for a blend of traditional business fundamentals and a command of the skills necessary to compete in the emerging worlds of eBusiness and eCommerce. Students who complete the Business-eBusiness degree program receive extensive education in relevant business practices. Our curriculum prepares students to contribute to the success of their career. The Business-eBusiness program covers the following seven focus areas: database management, systems analysis and design, Internet/intranet and extranet technologies, Business-eBusiness, marketing, eCommerce, management, and general education. The Business-eBusiness program provides students with a firm grasp of business fundamentals, including microeconomics and macroeconomics, business accounting, law and ethics, commerce and government policies, cross-cultural management, management theory, entrepreneurship, promotion and advertising strategies. Students explore how these areas apply to traditional business, as well as eBusiness and eCommerce. In addition, students gain the skills to effectively utilize new technologies.
