Health and Human Services prepares scholar-practitioners to serve at the forefront of the design and delivery of cutting-edge public and private services. Utilizing an array of practice-oriented theories and qualitative and quantitative research strategies, our graduates are able to assess the effectiveness of existing health and human services programs, and, when necessary, make timely changes to them, or develop new ones that respond to the diverse needs of society's most vulnerable citizens.

PUBH 6620 Field Practicum in Community Health* (6 cr.)

* The practicum is a student-arranged, 300-hour field-training experience at a site in the United States. In certain circumstances, students may receive approval for a non-U.S. training site from the faculty chair. However, that approval must be sought in writing prior to admission to the program.
