| Mission |
| Center of Advanced Therapeutics' goal is to elevate the skill level and standards of practice for the massage therapy profession by providing a high quality education. By learning both the theory and practice of therapeutic massage, students earn their certificate required to enter the profession. Similarly, we specialize in advanced training for upgrading the skills and credentials of bodyworkers already in the field. We accomplish our intentions by first providing a learning environment that supports the student in discovering and utilizing their innate, creative talents. Next, seasoned instructors provide a methodical framework that utilizes progressive instructional modules and cognitive learning techniques that help individual students to understand course material and then easily assemble what they learn in the program, into a working body of knowledge. It is Center of Advanced Therapeutics' belief that the more students enjoy their training, the greater their opportunity for learning. In the same spirit, our faculty and administrative staff, externship sites and alumni engender compassion and enthusiasm; not only for their students' learning and patients' wellness, but also for the greater benefit of our communities. To remove the roadblocks from changing careers, going to school, and paying for classes, we provide affordable tuition, interest free financial aid (for those who qualify), ongoing enrollment, no application fees or hidden costs, flexible scheduling, student services and transferability of credits from related, prior training and experience. |
