About this School
Chestnut Hill College is an coeducational Catholic college in the Chestnut Hill section of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. It was founded in 1924 as an all-women's school by the Sisters of Saint Joseph. It was originally called Mount Saint Joseph College and assumed its current name in 1938. In 1980, it began to offer master's degrees and in 1997 began to offer doctorates. Chestnut Hill College became coeducational 2003.
