Northern Virginia Community College Less-than-2-year certificate Emergency Medical Technology + Technician (EMT Paramedic): A program that prepares individuals, under the remote supervision of physicians, to recognize, assess, and manage medical emergencies in prehospital settings and to supervise Ambulance personnel.
