Mission

TThe University of the Virgin Islands is a liberal arts, land-grant institution established by public statute to meet the higher education needs of the people of the U.S. Virgin islands and the wider Caribbean. The University offers undergraduate, graduate and continuing education programs, which provide the requisite competencies for productive, fulfilling lives and responsible citizenship. The university also strives to be a major provider of the intellectual capital for the development of the region through the integration of its teaching, research and public service activities.
