The Agricultural Engineering Program is an academic transfer program designed to prepare students to complete a bachelor’s degree agricultural engineering at a four-year university. Students in this program concentrate on math, natural sciences, and engineering sciences. Students complete their core general education requirements at the transfer school.
Agricultural engineers design and develop equipment and systems to raise, harvest and process agricultural products. They also are heavily involved in developing biological systems for handling agricultural waste and producing fuels from agricultural products. Many agricultural engineers develop bioengineering expertise.
