The Animation Program-Animation Production will prepare students for an entry-level position in the animation industry with emphasis in either computer or hand-drawn methods. The Associate Degree is also designed for transfer to four-year colleges or universities. At the conclusion of their studies, all students will be prepared for entry-level positions in a number of fields (for example: video game design, television and motion picture production) requiring them to create animation, by either computer or hand-drawn methods, or a combination of the two. Classes are offered in traditional drawn animation, character design, layout, storyboarding, 2-D computer animation, and 3-D computer animation.
