The Apprenticeship Electrical Construction (AEC) Program is designed for those who have been accepted into the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) National Joint Apprenticeship and Training Committee (NJATC), Apprenticeship School.

This is a five-year program that includes 8000 hours of IBEW apprenticeship training. This program will measure skills through formal curricula and standardized assessment processes to give current electrical laborers opportunities for advancement or to provide an avenue for entry into the field. To be accepted into the program, student apprentices must meet the admissions requirements of the Bureau of Program Training, U.S. Department of Labor and Black Hawk College.
