-Degree Requirements-
The A.A.S. Degree Business will provide a foundation and exposure to the basic principles of business. The following course of study in Business will provide the necessary foundation for an individual in the business field. Students need a minimum of 60 semester credit hours and a 2.0 cumulative gradepoint-average to complete the program.

  • Upon completion of the specified course work of the non-transferable Associate in Applied Science, Business Management program, the graduate will:

  • Demonstrate mastery of the fundamentals of written and oral in the English language with emphasis on business communication.

  • Demonstrate skills in accounting and other business mathematical operations to perform entry level tasks with an acceptable degree of precision and accuracy.

  • Provide evidence of appropriate skill levels in using the kinds of programs included in office-suite software, and in understanding and working with various computer operating systems.

  • Demonstrate a broad-based knowledge of the disciplines of psychology, management, economics, and business law and skill in applying these disciplines to personnel supervision, marketing, and entrepreneurship.
