Calvary Bible College and Theological Seminary Associate degree Children's Ministry
The Associate of Arts degree is an introductory or preparatory program. It is not, nor is it intended to be a program that fully prepares the student for ministry or employment in the area of emphasis selected. That is the intent and purpose of the four- and five-year baccalaureate degree programs. The Children's Ministry major uniquely prepares the student to work with children. This is a special program which is offered with Child Evangelism Fellowship. Students who have graduated from CEF's Children's Ministries Institute will be able to transfer virtually all of their credits from the Institute to Calvary and use them toward meeting the requirements of this major. Calvary has an articulation agreement with CEF and cooperates closely with them.
Objectives
* That the student build a basic foundation of Bible knowledge.
* That the student be able to communicate biblical information effectively.
* That the student gain a basic understanding of the discipline being studied.
