The Civil Engineering Technology program is designed to provide students with the specialized background needed for technicians who work with civil engineers. Civil engineering technicians carry out many tasks necessary in the construction of residential and commercial buildings, bridges, dams, power plants, water and waste treatment systems, and transportation systems such as highways, pipelines, airfields, and transmission lines.
