The Computer Programming associate degree program consists of courses designed to provide students with an understanding of the concepts, principles, and techniques required in processing business data. Those interested in a Computer Programming Associate of Applied Science degree should be highly motivated individuals who are interested in becoming a data processing professional. Program graduates are to be competent in the general areas of humanities or fine arts, social or behavioral sciences, natural sciences or mathematics, as well as the specific areas of systems analysis and design, data base management, networking concepts, and programming language courses in PHP, Python, COBOL, RPG, and Visual BASIC programming.
