The Computer Science program is a two year broad based Associate of Applied Science degree program. Computer Science requires courses in Office applications, business related programming and algorithmic processes, allowing the student to develp a solid foundation of software development. Computer Science majors concentrate on the theory and design of software applications and software engineering in current programming languages including theory and design of business, Internet and game programming. Graduates will have the current skills to be employed in the computer programming industry where software development programs are written or maintained, including specializations such as interface design, game and web programming. Students may also choose to pursue an advanced degree at a four-year institution.
