Mission: It is the mission of Blackfeet Community College to provide transfer academic and relevant vocational programs of high quality that lead to appropriate associate degrees and certificates. Further, the college provides a core of general education instruction that results in identifiable student competence in written and oral communication, quantitative reasoning, critical analysis and logical thinking, with literacy achieved in the discourse or technology appropriate to the student’s program of study. The Associate of Applied Science degree Construction Technology prepares students with entry-level skills for the construction industry. This program provides the students with two options. The Associate of Applied Science degree provides students with a broader background in the residential and industrial construction field. In addition, the students will have entry preparation for further education or training in skills related to Construction Technology.
This curricula is designed to preserve the cultural tradition and heritage of the Blackfeet People relative to Construction Technology by integration of traditional concepts in the course of study.
