An A.S. degree Criminal Justice may be earned by completing the General Education and Criminal Justice Core Requirements and Specialization courses indicated in the option selected. The associate degree does not qualify students for state certification as corrections or law enforcement officers. A student must complete the Florida Criminal Justice Standards and Training Commission Basic Recruit Training Program for state certification.
