The Associate in Applied Science Degree (AAS) in Education Teacher Associate option is designed to prepare students to work in education classrooms as paraprofessionals and, at the same time, to fulfill requirements at the College of Education of their choice. Technical core courses are designed to increase students' knowledge and ability to work in Kentucky classrooms. General education courses will be chosen from the general education core. Concentration area courses are designed to give students specific instruction within the area of education in which they are working or aspire to work.
