Students prepare for careers in the electronic equipment service profession as technicians in a wide range of high tech occupations, including broadcast audio technician, broadcast video technician, car audio technician, electronic assembly, electronic service technician, medical equipment repair technician, mobile electronics installer, office automation technician and video tape technician.
Students learn and hone servicing technician skills through extensive practical training with live equipment, and prepare for industry certifications, including Certified Electronics Technician (CET), Mobile Electronics Certified Professional (MECP) and the Society of Broadcast Engineers (SBE).
