This program is designed for those individuals interested in providing First Responder initial training courses and approved EMS continuing education programs in the State of Kansas. It will provide the participant with opportunities to gain information and practice as a Training Officer II in the State of Kansas. This program has been approved by the Board of Emergency Medical Services. It addresses information and techniques currently considered to be the responsibilities of the TOII according to the Kansas Board of EMS. Curriculum includes sections of the DOT National Standard Curriculum for EMS instructors, Kansas Basic Life support skills task analysis and applicable statutes and regulations.
