This program is designed for those individuals interested in providing and or coordinating approved EMS continuing education programs in the State of Kansas. It will provide the participant with opportunities to gain information and practice as a Training Officer I in the State of Kansas. This program has been approved by the Kansas Board of EMS. It addresses information and techniques currently considered to be the responsibilities of the TO I according to the Kansas BEMS. Curriculum includes sections of the DOT National Standard Curriculum for EMS Instructors, Kansas Basic Life Support Skills Task Analysis and applicable statutes and regulations.
