The English as a Second Language courses are designed to develop the student's English language proficiency in the areas of listening, speaking, reading and writing. There are 24 courses divided into four tracks and six levels. All courses in a level are corequisites and should be taken concurrently. Students enter courses at the level determined by the results of the assessment testing.The credit English as a Second Language (ESL) classes at El Paso Community College (EPCC) are for people who want to learn English and improve the English fluency.
