The AAS in Forest Technology Program is designed to outline study for students who want to enter directly into the workforce in the forestry field upon earning the associate degree. Although this A.A.S. degree is not intended for university transfer, all of the general education and several of the major field courses in the program will count toward the A.S. in Forestry, which is designed to prepare the student to go on to a bachelor’s degree in forestry at Oklahoma State or other universities. The Forest Technology program is recognized by the Society of American Foresters.
