-Degree Requirements-
Upon completion of the two year course of study in Native American Studies, the graduate will:

  • Demonstrate mastery of the fundamentals of written and oral communication in the English language.

  • Demonstrate mastery of the appropriate levels of knowledge and skill in the disciplines of computer information systems, mathematics, and biological and physical sciences.

  • Demonstrate a broad based knowledge of the disciplines of humanities, social sciences, history/political science, and Native American studies.

  • Demonstrate evidence of mastery of the Cheyenne language at the completion of the first-year level of competence, knowledge of Cheyenne oral traditions, knowledge of Cheyenne-based ethnobotany, and history of the Cheyenne people.
