The combination of theory and applied broadcasting courses with liberal arts studies is designed to allow students to transfer to four-year institutions as Broadcasting majors. Career options open to four-year Broadcasting graduates include radio/TV operations and management, announcing, copywriting, newscasting, sportscasting, camera operations, directing, technical directing and others.

Graduates of this program will be able to:
􀁦 Demonstrate basic knowledge of TV studio or digital audio equipment
􀁦 Explain basic concepts about the history, theories, social effects, terminology and aesthetics of communication
􀁦 Apply concepts to the analysis of media content
