The Industrial Electronics Major places an emphasis on the automatic control of industrial processes using PLCs, industrial instrumentation, DC and AC machinery, and power distribution. Graduates may be employed as technicians in installation, operations, maintenance, or sales. Employers include businesses, factories, mines, utilities, and mills. The majority of courses in the Industrial Electronics Major are offered during the day, but some may be offered in the evening.
