The Industrial Systems Technology associates degree program is designed for the student who wishes to prepare for a career in industrial systems technology. The associates’ degree program builds upon the diploma program in Industrial Systems Technology, providing background skills in several areas of industrial maintenance and control systems. The program provides learning opportunities that introduce, develop, and reinforce academic and technical knowledge, skills, and attitudes required for job acquisition, retention, and advancement. Additionally, the program provides opportunities to retrain or upgrade present knowledge and skill. Graduates of the program receive an Industrial Systems Technology Associates Degree in Applied Technology that qualifies them for employment as industrial electricians or industrial systems technicians or I and E technicians with opportunities to move into management positions. High school graduation or GED is required for admission to this program.
