The international studies program recognizes the diversity of the world in which we live. It is an interdisciplinary program designed to provide an introduction to the complex interrelationships that exist among societies. It combines the study of international relations, global and development issues and contemporary belief systems. In addition, the degree aims to equip students with the skills in language, analytical thinking, and economic literacy that are necessary for transfer and careers in international fields. Students who wish to transfer will benefit from the breadth of knowledge central to any degree program. The degree program
