Boise Bible College Associate degree Missions
|
|
|
The Missions concentration is combined with the General Education core and the Bible core to complete the program requirements of an Associate of Science degree.
The concentration is made up of four components:
1. Christian Ministries Core, a series of courses which give you exposure to a range of ministry fields and develop your ministry skills and outlook in a systematic way.
2. Missions Core, a series of courses designed to teach basic skills for anyone working in the field of missions.
3. Guided Electives, a “menu” of courses, any of which would prove valuable in the field of missions, from which you can choose based on your personal goals and interests.
4. Ministry Electives, an opportunity for you to diversify your curriculum by taking courses in a ministry field other than missions or to augment your missions degree by taking additional courses in that field.
Program Objectives
The Missions concentration is designed to help you accomplish two goals:
1. You will become more aware of a variety of cultures.
2. You will be introduced to missionary life and missionary history, theology, and strategies.
