Nursing Assistant is approved by the Arizona Board of Nursing to prepare the basic level of nursing assistant to take the state exam for certification with emphasis on basic concepts of communication, patient safety, anatomy and physiology, nursing process, patient rights, legal and professional responsibilities, and specific patient care skills.
