Dodge City Community College offers both LPN RN programs in nursing. The Nurse Education curriculum includes both nursing and general education courses. The nursing courses include theory and clinical experience in patient care in a variety of settings. The program provides opportunities for the student to acquire knowledge and clinical skill in the field of nursing.
All students who complete the first year (Level 1) are eligible for the state licensure examination to become a Licensed Practical Nurse. Students who choose to continue and complete the second year (Level II) are eligible for the state licensure examination to become a Registered Nurse.
