The Office Technology program is designed to provide a fundamental program for students either working in or seeking employment in the Business/Secretarial area. Students need a minimum of 60 semester credit hours and a 2.0 cumulative gradepoint-average to complete the program.
Upon completion of the specified course work of the non-transferable Office Technology program, the graduate will:
Demonstrate Mastery of the fundamentals of written and oral communication in the English language.
Demonstrate skills in accounting and other business mathematical operations to perform entry level tasks with an acceptable degree of precision and accuracy.
Provide evidence of appropriate skill levels in using the kinds of programs included in office suite software, in understanding and working with operating systems, and in
utilizing desktop publishing software by using up to date office technology systems.
Demonstrate a broad-based knowledge of the disciplines of psychology, management, and business law.
