Upon successful completion of the general education requirements and the suggested program requirements for an Associate in Arts degree, the student shall:
* interpret the primary structure of the United States from an historical, governmental, economic, or sociologic perspective
* distinguish the role of the individual in the greater society from an historical, governmental, economic, or sociologic perspective
* be prepared with an understanding of police procedures
