Transfer Program
The focus of this program is current issues, and preparation of students for
practical design and production work rather than for jobs which require more
theoretical, research and scientific knowledge. However, engineering technology
graduates are qualified to register as professional engineers under the same
terms as graduates with degrees engineering. Within the University System
of Georgia, Southern Polytechnic State University offers training in engineering
technology.
