An applicant is expected to have completed at least 32 hours of course work before submitting an application (October 1). At least 64 hours semester of college or university credits are required for admission to the professional program. Applicants are requested to have the majority of their science prerequisites completed by the semester of application. ALL prerequisites must be completed by the end of the spring semester prior to matriculation into the veterinary college at TAMU. For out of state students, please consult the VMCAS website. Students should request a new brochure each year in order to keep current on specific course requirements.
