Program Purpose: Graduates will demonstrate (1) basic knowledge in psychology
and sociology that will prepare them for transfer to the university and (2) competency
in communication, critical thinking, quantitative analysis, and technological
applications.
Program Description: This combined major in the behavioral sciences allows
students continuing at the university to major in either field. Also, students
considering a career in social work or other human services can use this program
as a solid preparation for those careers.
