The Quality Assurance program at El Camino College is designed to give students professional training in order to pursue a successful career in the quality assurance and reliability field. Those already employed in a quality assurance position will benefit from the program by increasing their education and training.
Students will learn the fundamentals of quality assurance, for work in a variety of industries. After completing the program, students will be prepared to work as a member of a quality assurance team, or work as a consultant for a variety of clients.
Instructors constantly assess teaching strategies and technology involved with the quality assurance industry to ensure all instruction provided to students is current and relevant in today’s workplace.
Students learn about problems found in maintaining desirable quality levels, as well as the history and development of “quality philosophy” through courses that offer individualized attention and opportunities for class participation. Computer programs with current industry software are also available to students, as well as an introduction into related careers in quality assurance.
