Ancilla College’s Associate Science degree prepares students for a variety of entry-level positions in industrial, research
and medical laboratories. The Associate Science degree is also appropriate for students who wish to transfer to a four-year
college in pursuit of a Baccalaureate degree in biology, chemistry, physics or who wish to continue on to a medical, veterinary
or graduate school.
The curriculum, which is composed of courses in biological science, physical science and math, is complemented by Ancilla’s
core of liberal arts courses. In addition to classroom coursework, much of the curriculum is based around hands on laboratory
experiences. Ancilla College strives to produce graduates who are broadly educated with the ability to make logical decisions,
manage groups effectively and communicate well.
