The Secondary Education degree option provides the first two years of college for students preparing to become secondary education teachers. To earn the A.A. degree, students must graduate with a 2.75 GPA, pass the Praxis I Exam and complete a professional portfolio approved by the Director of Teacher Education. All students who enroll in this program should work closely with their advisor and the Director of Teacher Education. Changes in the program requirements at four-year institutions may affect the transferability of credits earned in the program.
The College's computer literacy requirement is met throughout the degree program.
