This program provides the student with the first two years of college work
towards the bachelor’s degree sociology from a four-year college or
university. It also offers students an opportunity to attain the knowledge and
skills necessary for work opportunities in a variety of social service agencies,
institutions, and organizations.
This is a transfer program and is designed to enable students to transfer to
a four-year college or university. Check with your advisor and the Student Success
Center as soon as possible to ensure specific course transferability.
Successful completion of this program qualifies a student to apply for an Associate
in Science degree in Arts and Sciences.
